Stratence Partners is pleased to welcome David Whitaker as Senior Vice President, Chemical Industry.
David is an internationally recognised global B2B sales and marketing leader with more than 40 years of commercial experience in the chemical industry, with a strong focus on food ingredients and specialty chemicals.
During his career, David held senior leadership roles at International Flavors & Fragrances (IFF) and Eternis Fine Chemicals, where he served as Vice President Sales & Marketing. As part of executive leadership teams, he played a key role in driving sustained international growth across multiple regions.
David has led global sales organizations, shaping pricing strategies, key account models, and new product development initiatives, while working cross-functionally with R&D, Regulatory, and Supply Chain teams. He has also successfully guided organizations through post-acquisition integration in complex international environments.
He holds a BSc (Hons) in Chemistry & Management from Loughborough University and is a Fellow of the Institute of Directors (FIOD), as well as a member of the Royal Society of Chemistry and the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
