Strengthening Stratence Partners’ Commercial Transformation capabilities across high tech, technology monetization, strategic marketing and complex industrial environments.
Stratence Partners is pleased to announce that Tim Tsarfati has joined the firm as Senior Vice President and Advisory Board Member.
Based in Switzerland, in the Zurich and St. Gallen region, Tim brings more than 20 years of international high tech and commercial management experience, with a strong focus on technology monetization, business excellence, strategic marketing, go-to-market optimization and profitable growth in complex technological environments.
His appointment reinforces Stratence Partners’ continued international development as a Commercial Transformation firm, supporting CEOs and executive teams in turning strategy into measurable, scalable and sustainable business impact.
Tim’s background combines senior commercial leadership, technology transfer, portfolio management, R&D collaboration and business model redesign. Over his career, he has held senior roles including CSO, CMO and global portfolio and account management positions in renowned organizations such as CERN and VAT, leading technological and commercial performance initiatives across global enterprises and start-ups.
Bridging Technology Excellence and Commercial Performance
His expertise is particularly relevant for companies operating in industries where technology, science, market complexity and commercial execution must be strongly connected. This includes semiconductors, material science, renewables, automation, AI, advanced industrial environments and technology-intensive B2B markets.
At Stratence Partners, Tim will contribute to the firm’s work in Commercial Transformation, Strategy Optimization, Pricing Excellence and Commercial Effectiveness, helping clients translate technical excellence into stronger market positioning, better monetization, improved governance and disciplined execution.
His experience is especially aligned with Stratence’s ability to connect strategy, pricing, commercial performance, data management, data science and Integrated Commercial Systems into a coherent transformation framework.
This is central to Stratence Partners’ approach: not only advising on what should change, but helping organizations build the capabilities, governance and execution discipline required to sustain impact over time.
A Unique Combination of Scientific and Commercial Expertise
Tim holds a PhD, an MBA, two MSc degrees in Physics and Chemistry, as well as IPMA and IMD credentials, including Value Pricing.
This combination of scientific, strategic and commercial expertise gives him a distinctive perspective on how organizations can convert innovation, technology and R&D strength into measurable commercial advantage.
As part of his Business Development responsibilities, Tim will focus on the DACH region, the Netherlands, Belgium and Poland, with the possibility of supporting other territories where his expertise and network can create value.
Strengthening Stratence Partners’ International Ecosystem
His onboarding also strengthens Stratence Partners’ broader international ecosystem as a collaborating firm of Andersen Consulting, supporting clients through senior expertise, practical implementation, capability transfer and measurable business impact.
For Stratence Partners, Tim’s profile is particularly relevant now because many technology-driven organizations are facing a common challenge:
They have strong technical capabilities, but need sharper commercial models, clearer value capture, stronger pricing discipline, better partnership alignment and more effective execution across markets.
Tim’s contribution will support Stratence Partners in helping those organizations move from technological potential to profitable, governed and sustainable growth.
